It aims at taking playing skills of the chromatic harmonica hobbyists to higher levels by equipping them to gain confidence and improve upon their skills. At the end of each level, the participants will be able to handle their chromatic harmonicas more confidently with higher level skills and musicianship in their appreciations of music and performances.
Description This is the Intermediate level for chromatic harmonica playing targeting those who have completed the foundational levels 1 & 2 or equivalent. Participants of earlier classes will continue with their harmonica learning journey with higher-level skills idiosyncratic to chromatic harmonica playing. Techniques such as different vibratos, staccato, trills and simple intervals etc will be explored on top of musical theory such as song analysis and advanced rhythms found in blues and jazz rhythms. New key families in D, Bb, A & Eb majors will be delved into with etudes and songs in different genres of pop, classical, jazz, rhythm and blues
